For iOS
- iPhone 6 (4.7 inch) or 6 Plus (5.5 inch). I wouldn’t recommend iPhone 6 Plus for users with small hands, as it’s slippery (without case) and harder to hold with one hand.
For Android
- You may want to wait for the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S6 or HTC One M9, which will probably go on sale in April or May.
- If you enjoy pure stock Android experience with minimal 3rd party apps and customizations, consider Google Nexus 6 (5.9 inch!), Moto X 2nd generation, or Moto G (2nd generation) (great value and best mid-range phone).
- Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Great phablet with stylus, top-of-the-line specs.
- OnePlus One: Ridiculously cheap smartphone for its specs and quality. A flagship killer.
- HTC One M8: Well-built, premium look and feel, best smartphone speaker.
- Sony Xperia Z3: Well-built, awesome battery life, waterproof, great speakers.
- Sharp Aquos Crystal: Good but not great phone, but its bezel-less design is head-turning.

- BlackBerry Passport: Miss the old phones with physical keypad/keyboard? Type/text faster, stay productive.
